BEWARE! They'll serve you food they wouldn't serve their friends!
I always get my lunch here. I can get food that is healthy and when I want something to pig out on they have that too. The staff is awesome, really great people! The salad factory has it all; great food, great prices and great people.
So he opted for the tuna and she very strongly suggest what bread to have it on. She then goes on to tell him that they are out of white bread and rye bread which automatically pricks up my ears because I'm having the Reuben. So I point out that there's a loaf of rye and white bread right in front of me in the case. I then ask her what is wrong with the bread that she wouldn't sell it to her friend. She begins to give me a "hummana hummana" look and tries to explain "oh well no these were in the freezer and these are for toasting".
Great food, very skilled help. Deli had been around for over 30 years. Paul, the owner, knows what he's doing. Excellent for catering.
I then give her the care you taking me for an idiot" look and demanded my money back and walked out, by that time they had already cooked up my sandwich and had wrapped it up but I didn't care. If they're willing to do that with bread I don't want to find out what they're doing with their meat.
25 cents lollipops and 1 dollar cans of soda for the win. Would recommend if you're looking for something sweet as I haven't really ordered any food items from here.
Home away from home! Food is great & the people are the best.
I was ordering one of their specials today, which was a Reuben sandwich on rye, and while I was waiting for them to prepare it another guy comes in to order lunch and it's obvious that he's friends with the blonde woman behind the counter. Close enough of friends that she knows that he's not going to like certain things that are specials and she tells him so.
